YOGA WORKSHOP INTRODUCTION TO ARM BALANCES (ROCKET VINYASA POSTURES)

Updated: Oct 20, 2020

Most of the time we spend sitting, standing or lying down, even in yoga classes.  Arm balances counter the day to day movement and let us see the world from a different perspective, on our hands.

Learn how to stack the body to create the foundation needed for lifting off. Use breath and bandhas to create a flowing transition that allows you to resist gravity.  You will practice a variety of arm balances that are accessible for everyone, but will also challenge you.

Postures covered are: pincha mayurasana, bakasana, parsva bakasana A, B, eka pada bakasana, galavasana, koundinyasana A, B, astavakrasana, baddha hasta sirsasana A and Mukta Hasta Sirsasana A. Use this workshop to build your own routine and fly the Rocket.

Experience the rebel yoga known as THE ROCKET and access an energetic power you never knew existed. Come and fly THE ROCKET.

Jason Searing RYT500 has been teaching Rocket Yoga since 2013. Among his yoga education he has completed Rocket Yoga trainings with The Yoga People and Rocket Jedi David Kyle.
