INVERSION HIT special yoga class event in Plymouth

Try yoga with a difference. Tonight we blend yoga, with yoga dance and cacao for an evening of natural detoxification and energy boost.

FIRST TIME IN PLYMOUTH , POSSIBLY THE FIRST TIME IN UK YOGA WITH A DIFFERENCE: INVERSION HIT


The evening begins with 30 minutes of inversion yoga. Take a shape or three where you stay upside down for a while. This can be putting your legs up on the wall or getting into shoulder stand or even headstand. This aspect of yoga is known for relieving stress and allowing the body and mind to relax. You can make it as easy or tough as you wish. Options are given for those needing guidance or an extra challenge. Led by qualified, experienced practitioner skinnibuddha.The next 30 minutes is spent on free flow yoga dance to music led by experienced yoga and ecstatic dance leader Landa Love. Yoga dance is a form of yoga that removes inhibitions and loosens up the body and allows participants to find their own rhythm and flow. The remainder of the session will be spend resting and/or sampling the various cacao snacks available. Giving you a natural hit and cleanse for Saturday night.Water and yogi teas will be available during the evening. This class is donation based (suggested donation of £5.00). You can reserve a space here. BE MINDFUL WHEN BOOKING AS NOT ATTENDING PREVENTS OTHERS FROM HAVING THE SPACE. Alternatively feel free to drop in on the day (we will keep 30% of spaces available for drop-ins) This event is suitable for anyone who has mobility in the body and is over 18 years old. No yoga experience is necessary. This is not a specific yoga therapy class and is not appropriate for those with certain medical conditions (if unsure please check with us beforehand). The leaders/teachers will be available at the end of the evening to give advice on yoga styles and what types of classes would be suitable if wishing to continue practising yoga. All participants will be signposted as necessary to the most suitable yoga classes available to them in the Plymouth area. If you can bring your own mat, blocks, cushions and blanket (as there will be limited equipment provided on the night: please let us know if you need some beforehand). There is free on street parking at certain sites along Madiera Road and Hoe Road after 6.00pm There is also limited metered parking space around the venue. We suggest arriving at least 15 minutes before to get a parking spot. Why not cycle, walk or take the bus or ferry. This class is donation based (suggested donation of £5.00).
