Ayurvedic Chai Yogi Balls

Help relieve stress and a heated mind, boosts digestion, and nourishes the body with these delicious balls.

Ingredients:

2-4 tablespoons of plant based milk

120ml melted coconut oil

60g sunflower or almond butter (we make our own sunflower butter)

30g sunflower seeds

30g hemp seeds

85g raw almonds

2 teaspoons cardamon powder

1 teaspoon ginger powder

⅛ teaspoon grated nutmeg

½ teaspoon vanilla extract

4 pitted medjool dates (or use 8 Iranian dates)

¼ teaspoon sea salt or himalayan salt


Cacao powder or nibs, grated coconut ir sesame seeds for coating


Method:

  1. Add 2 tablespoons of the milk to a mixing bowl/blender/food processor

  2. Add all the other ingredients and blend until a dough forms (add more milk if needed)

  3. Divide the dough into balls and roll in preferred coating, placing on greaseproof paper and in the freezer for at least 30 minutes

  4. Take out a few minutes before eating


NOTES: Keep in the freezer until ready to eat as they will melt in the heat. Best eaten cold
