In 2013 I spent some time with the Kripa Foundation, India to understand more how Yoga practices can be used to overcome addictions, to help my the Leon Rehabilitation Project, Nicaragua.
I trained in Yoga Therapy under professional guidance at Paramanand University and Paramanand Institute of Yoga Science and Research, Indore, India During this training I participated in clinical practice under the direct guidance of world renowned Yoga Therapists, Physicians, Homeopaths, Yoga Teachers and Ayurvedic Doctors. My own specialism includes 9 years working with addictions. I was fortunate enough to be invited to present my findings at the International Yoga Therapy Conference, India, 2015. I gave a detailed talk followed by a practical yoga therapy session to help people and families with addiction problems.
